Why?

Because they are concerned with the health of your bones.
Your recent fracture and/or surgery made them wonder if your bones are as healthy as they can be.

What Will Happen in the Osteoporosis Clinic?

What should I bring to my appointment?

If you have previous Bone Mineral Density reports, bring them.
If you take a multivitamin, calcium and/or Vitamin D either bring the bottles, or write down the amount of calcium, vitamin D, magnesium, phosphorus and alkaline phosphatase in each tablet. Note how many tablets make up a serving size and how many tablets you take daily.
